Week 2
The Ted Talk video is a really good expression of what education is, and what it should become. Ken Robinson compares education to a fast food restaurant, in which everything is standardized and we want to get through it quickly and efficiently. He does say that it shouldn't be that way. We should take heed of each individual student's talents and work to expand them. Robinson made a great point in saying that standardized education does not benefit most students because most students don't fit into that mold. I think that if technology was used to the best of our ability in education, then we could start straying from the standardization of education. What I mean by this is that through technology, every student can be taught in a way that is beneficial to them and their individual talents.
